Joint 6th Form Activities
Sixth Form students enjoyed a trip to Chickenshed Theatre in London to see their Christmas production of Pan. This year was particularly special as one of our sixth form students joined the theatre earlier in the year and we were able to see her perform in her first ever full scale production. Obviously she was amazing, as was the whole show with so many young people of different abilities putting on a stunning performance. Well done to all involved.
Our Careers workshop with Liz, Viv and Heather from Job Centre Plus, ended with a morning learning about types of interviews students may have and how to prepare for an interview including:
- Researching employers
- Planning your journey to an interview
- What to wear
- What to do the night before an interview
- What to do on the day of your interview
Students then completed mock interviews with the JCP staff with many of them having dressed exceptionally smartly in preparation for the process.
Well done to all the students who took part. Your interviewers were all incredibly impressed with your performances. Had the interviews been real you would all have got the job!
