Upper 6th
Enterprise/Work Experience
Today Upper Sixth have worked extremely hard trying to sell lots of their handmade Christmas stockings (filled with yummy treats) and individual magic reindeer food bags. Students worked on the market stall in Kempston and despite the poor weather - they were all amazing and sold lots of items.
Enterprise is such an important subject and involves so many skills. In addition, the students took on a new challenge of sewing. Stitching all 100 Christmas Stockings proved to be quite a challenge but certainly one to be proud of - all students were able to sew with support and some had progressed to sewing independently. What an achievement!
Once again, thank you for your continued support with our Enterprise projects! We really do appreciate all your support and feedback - they help us to develop and make improvements for future projects.
We wish you all a magical Christmas and look forward to sharing more projects in 2025!

Enterprise/Money Management
This week we have been extremely busy designing a new hoodie for our official Enterprise uniform. We have had lots of discussions about the importance of identity when we are running our projects in school and in the community. In Digital Skills, students worked on creating a logo whilst developing the design for our hoodies. We invested by using some of our saved money to purchase black hoodies ready to be personalised. Here they are…

Enterprise/Money Management
Students created their first enterprise project based on International Coffee Day. They decided to bake homemade shortbread biscuits to serve with a selection of hot and cold drinks. Students chose to donate all the money to the Cancer Now Breast Cancer charity. We are pleased to announce Upper raised a fantastic £60!
